Calling all neighborhood volunteers!

The WNA Secret Garden Tour is less than three weeks away, and we need your help!

We have received great support from the City of Des Moines, Polk County, Herndon's, Koch Bros. the press, our many ticket outlets and a private donor. Our garden owners, committee chairs and a few dedicated volunteers have been working overtime to help make Waterbury proud.

Now IT'S UP TO YOU, our neighbors, to help make this event a success.

One hundred posters still need to be displayed. Stop by 4900 Woodland Ave. and pick up a few or many, to display where you work or shop!

Help is also needed in the following areas:
• Southern Belles to join with Southern Gentlemen in welcoming our guests (costume provided)
• On call gardeners (assist owners prior to the tour)
• Garden docents (to be a welcoming voice and assist the owner with patron traffic flow in the garden)
• Ticket Sellers at our headquarters The Des Moines Art Center
• Logistics (signage, assist with the Secret Tour Shuttle, set up and take down directional signs)
• Assist artists with set up and take down, attend to their needs.

Attire for volunteers during the tour:
Ladies-long or tea length skirts/white blouse/sun hats.
Men- Khaki pants/ white shirt/ bow ties or braces/straw hats.

Thanks in advance for your support.
